A group of 18 children and 18 adults got together to honour the memory of a dear friend who had recently died of secondary breast cancer. A local school held a Charity Day in aid of Secondary1st. Stalls offered a variety of attractions from new and second-hand books to popcorn, snacks and drinks. Held during the lunch break, almost £400 was raise in less than an hour.
After a hard-fought contest through rounds with some really brain-stretching questions, the winners celebrated their victory in the office quiz. The evening was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone there and raised over £500 for Secondary1st.
