A New Challenge for David
In 2017 David cycled all the way from London to Amsterdam to raise money for Secondary1st. He had recently lost his wife Joanne to secondary breast cancer and Secondary1st was a charity which had been very close to her heart. To continue his support David joined our team of Trustees to use his experience and skills for the benefit of Secondary1st.
Three and a half years later David is undertaking an even bigger challenge. At the end of June 2018 he moved to Singapore for business. Now he plans to cycle 1000km in 30 days between June 1st and 30th in the very different climate of that tropical island. There the temperature ranges between 25°C and 34°C while the relative humidity is 70-80%. The heat and humidity of Singapore are certainly different from cycling conditions in Northern Europe.
