Bristol 10k
Donna was not a runner but when her sister, a 33 year-old with three young children, was diagnosed with secondary breast cancer she made up her mind to take part in the Bristol 10k to raise money for Secondary1st. With the help of her good friend Lindsay she started training and over the weeks leading up to the event she steadily ran longer distances. She and Lindsay were two of the 13,000 + who took part in the Bristol 10k, which was set off by Jo Pavey, the 5-times Olympian and World, European and Commonwealth medallist and long-distance runner.
