Over the Wall

Catherine did it and more! She walked the length of Hadrian’s Wall and then walked on for another seventeen miles to raise money for Secondary1st. She crossed the country from Wallsend near Newcastle to Bowness-on-Solway near Carlisle keeping any prevailing winds at her back to help her along her journey.

Catherine has spent weeks and weeks preparing for August 2nd when she will set off to walk the 100km length of Hadrian’s Wall east to west across the north of England from Wallsend to Bowness-on-Solway. She hopes to mark the 1900th anniversary of the Wall by completing her walk in eight days.
