Secondary1st Readathon

Secondary1st is organising a Readathon for children and grown-ups to mark National Bookstart Week and celebrate the joys of reading. Team 27 Complete Their Mission

A group of 11 and 12 year-olds together with some of their parents completed a 10-mile Charity Cycle Ride round St, Alban’s and through parts of Hertfordshire on May 13th. They all had a great day in the warm sunshine and raised nearly £950 for Secondary1st – a fantastic achievement by them all.

Zumbathon

On 22nd April Amersham Zumba and Chesham Zumba got together and hosted a marathon zumbathon to raise money for Secondary1st. Gold in Cheltenham

A group of 18 children and 18 adults got together to honour the memory of a dear friend who had recently died of secondary breast cancer. Shenley Chanukah Party

Rebbitzin Tanya arranged a fabulous ladies’ Chanukah party. Everyone had the chance to decorate their own piece of ceramics before enjoying some wonderful refreshments and the thrill of a raffle with a huge collection of the most amazing prizes in aid of Secondary1st.

Another Night of Fun in Glasgow

After their fantastic fun night last year, Andrea’s family and friends held an amazing Halloween party in her memory to raise funds for Secondary1st. Everyone there enjoyed a great night, and they raised over £1200 to help make a difference and find more effective treatments for secondary breast cancer.
