He was determined to cycle 1000km in the thirty days from July 1^st but David actually did it with five days to spare.  In 25 days he spent 47 hours on his cycle around the roads of Singapore to achieve his 1000km goal.  It seems that is not enough for him; he intends to keep cycling and add 200 more kilometres to his total by the end of Day 30.
