David Just Kept Cycling
His original plan was to cycle 1000km in thirty days but David completed his challenge five days early, so he added another 200km to his target. In fact, by the end of day 30, he had cycled more than 1219km in 34 rides through hot sun, humidity, wind and occasional thunder and burnt 40,000 calories, adding 2.8kg of a protein formula mixed with vegetables, fruit and nuts to his diet after every ride. Now he has put away his cycling shoes while his bike is in for a much-needed service and intends to get back to cycling more normal distances.
