Peak Performance
Ruth and Stu are preparing to fly to Nepal where they will take part in a 22-day expedition to the summit of Imja Tse, the Nepalese name of Island Peak. Imja Tse is 6200 metres high and is in the Sagarmatha National Park on the Himalayas of eastern Nepal. Island Peak received its English name because it looks like an island in a sea of ice. Ruth and Stu are raising money for Secondary1st in memory of their friend Nic, who knew that much more funding was needed for research into secondary breast cancer.
