The Inaugural Annual Dinner of the Procurement Lawyers’ association was held in the ballroom of the Lansdowne Club.  The Guest of Honour was the Lord Justice Coulson, accompanied by Sue Arrowsmith Q.C., Achilles Professor of Public Procurement Law and Policy at the University of Nottingham, and Peter Bennett, Senior Policy Adviser at the Cabinet Office.  During the evening prizes were presented to the winners of the 2018-19 Rosie Choueka Memorial Essay Competition.  This was established in memory of Rosie, who died of secondary breast cancer in 2016; she had been a member of the PLA Executive Committee.
