The mission of Secondary1st is to help fund research into the prevention, diagnosis and causes of secondary (metastatic) breast cancer and the development of more effective treatments.

We want to put secondary breast cancer first.
Front of mind.
Top of the list.
Currently there is no cure.

This is a disease that has spread to the rest of the body and it is a disease that affects women and men everywhere, not just the cancer patient but their entire family. Finding a cure means everything. It means a diagnosis is no longer the end. It means people will have more days doing what matters most. It means daughters, mothers, fathers and sons get to keep on living a life they love.
