Victoria was diagnosed with breast cancer in November 2014 followed by a rigorous course of treatment. To celebrate a significant birthday last December she compiled a wish list of things she wants to do, including mountain climbing. She doesn’t believe in doing things by halves, so she has decided to climb the three highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales- Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon. This National Three Peaks Challenge will involve her in 26 miles of walking and 3000m of climbing, although she has never climbed a mountain before. She also wants to raise money for Secondary1st because she knows that no-one who has had breast cancer can forget that secondary breast cancer is there to take lives too soon.
